Why the Hub exists
A compassionate place to start when you do not know what comes next
Planning ahead or navigating a loss can make even simple decisions feel heavy. After Life Care Hub was created to make the next step clearer—not to rush families or replace professional advice.
Our mission in 43 seconds
Support should be easier to find when life feels hardest
This short film reflects the moments that inspired the Hub: grief, connection, remembrance, and the need for one calm place to begin.
Read the video description
The film opens with people gathering after a loss and comforting one another. A child stands with family as they grieve. The view moves above a cemetery, then to hands resting together in support. The final scenes shift toward remembrance and life continuing: friends raise bottles in a toast, a hand brushes through a sunlit field, and the current After Life Care Hub logo closes the film. A gentle music soundtrack plays throughout; there is no spoken dialogue.
A clearer path
Finding help should not add to the burden

Our promise
Education before sales. Relevance before reach.
- Family requests are initiated by the family—not purchased or mass distributed.
- Authorized introductions are limited to verified, routing-eligible providers approved for the family’s relevant service categories and area.
- Directory inclusion is not an endorsement or a guarantee of licensing, price, availability, quality, or outcome.
The next step is yours
Choose the starting point that feels right today
After Life Care Hub provides general educational resources, directory information, and a family-initiated introduction service. It does not provide emergency, legal, medical, financial, tax, funeral-directing, or mental-health advice. Verify provider details directly. If there may be an emergency or immediate danger, call 911 or the appropriate local authority.
A personal note
A Message From Our Founder
After losing a parent, I was suddenly forced to learn how to navigate everything that comes after a death—with very little direction and no clear place to begin.
I spent hours making phone calls, searching Google and asking relatives if they knew someone who could help. I was trying to coordinate important services in an unfamiliar area, hundreds of miles from home, while also carrying the emotional weight of losing someone close to me.
It made me confront a simple question:
What happens when you don’t have a local person who knows who to call?
After a loss, even basic decisions can feel urgent and overwhelming. I found myself making repeated trips, searching blindly for services, waiting for callbacks and trying to compare options without knowing whom I could trust.
The problem wasn’t simply a lack of information.
It was having to find every provider, make every call and explain the situation again and again while already grieving. One of the hardest parts was repeating the story of my loss to complete strangers while it was still fresh in my mind.
That experience led me to build After Life Care Hub.
My goal is to create the kind of resource and community I wish my family had: a clearer path forward for people facing loss, preparing for what may come or helping someone they love.
Through After Life Care Hub, families can browse local providers themselves, use practical planning resources or describe what they need once through Request Help. When appropriate, verified providers can connect with the family directly—reducing the number of searches, calls and repeated conversations required to find support.
Grieving families can be especially vulnerable to pressure, limited choices or referral relationships they may not fully understand. Our commitment is to offer access to multiple resources and connections so families can consider their options and make decisions on their own terms.
No family should have to navigate everything alone simply because they don’t have a local person who knows who to call.
After Life Care Hub exists to provide practical guidance, meaningful connections and a clearer path forward during some of life’s most difficult moments.
